London close: Stocks higher amid Korean political turmoil - Sharecast.com

The FTSE 100 index rose 0.56% to end the session at 8,359.41 points, while the FTSE 250 gained 0.6% to finish at 20,892.74 points.
In currency markets, sterling was last up 0.04% on the dollar to trade at $1.260, while it dipped 0.04% again
